About me

Mare Čare with hat and wand

Hello, I’m Marko Drljepan, father of two little suns, lover of magic and animals. By education I’m a graduate engineer in geodesy and environmental engineering. Despite the years of formal study, the passion that’s been with me since childhood took over — so I made the leap and turned magical entertainment into my full-time profession.

I learned my first trick at the age of six, when I found a magic book and — guided just by the pictures — performed a routine with a handkerchief and a coin that left me speechless. At the end-of-year school event “Show what you can do” I performed my first stage piece with a bottle and a wooden spoon.

I’ve blown up more than 35,000 balloons in my career, so my fingers are well-trained.

Two magical programmes for different ages and occasions

Show: Mareta Čareta’s Magic

On stage we step into a world of magic, where imagination has no limits.

Things may magically appear or disappear, objects may transform from one into another, physics loses its grip — and something may even come to life.

The magic really works when the children help on stage — that’s when the fun grows even bigger.

For the grand finale we conjure up the white dove Smoki. ✨

Mare Čare and the cheeky suitcase Mirko

In this show we meet Mareta Čareta and his friend — the cheeky suitcase Mirko, who has a mind of his own!

Mirko loves to joke, hides tricks and sometimes even gets the magician into trouble. Together with the children we coax him into helping with the magic — bringing even more laughter and surprises.

The show is full of interaction, music and jokes, and the children stay part of the action from start to finish.

December shows

December is a time devoted to children. For the season I’ve prepared a very special show:
“Magic for the holiday tree”. After the show, Santa or Grandfather Frost can visit the children 🎅

Show: Magic for the holiday tree

This time we decorate the tree with magic. Together with the children we pick up the magic wand and conjure until the tree is fully decorated. For the grand finale we conjure up the white dove Smoki.

Visit from the good man

At the end of the event Santa or Grandfather Frost can visit the children. He addresses them first, then hands out the gifts you’ve prepared in advance. He takes each child in his arms and gives them their gift — a perfect time for photos.

Both Santa and Grandfather Frost wear high-quality bespoke costumes — the children genuinely feel like they’re inside a fairytale.
